Dennis Deters needs your vote. He is one of the most respected Judges in our County and needs to remain our Judge on the Court of Appeals.
Prior to his appointment last year, Dennis was a respected private attorney that has handled or tried cases in courts all over southwest Ohio.
He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and University of Cincinnati College of Law. After graduation, he owned his own law firm and eventually moved on to practice at the downtown firm of Robbins, Kelly, Paterson and Tucker advising clients on complex legal issues. Prior to taking the bench, he was recognized by his peers as one the finest attorneys in his field, with the “Super Lawyer” Designation. He prides himself on having spent a large portion of his practice representing police officers and victims of crime. He was also an active member of Operation Legal Help Ohio, which provides free legal services to Veterans.
Judge Deters brings to the bench a unique perspective and a familiarity with the concerns of local communities, having served as a member of the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners and as a Colerain Township Trustee. In these roles, Dennis focused on reducing spending, and eliminating big government in favor of growth and development. He was also the Chair of Hamilton County's Heroin Coalition, where he created innovative programs to fight drug dealers and attack the opiate epidemic.
Judge Deters and his wife Jessica are raising their three young children on the West Side.
As a judge, Dennis is a proven conservative that understands that he must remain faithful to the rule of law to ensure that we have fair courts and safe streets. This year, we will need your help to make sure Judge Deters is victorious in November. For the sake of our community, we need to Keep Judge Deters on the Court of Appeals.
